AION 2 Cleric Class Guide

Role: Healer

Weapon: Mace

Learning curve: Demanding to master

Role in the Party

The only dedicated main healer in the launch roster β€” a scarce-role class like the Templar: every group needs one, and supply never meets demand. Mechanics are approachable; the responsibility of keeping eight people alive through a Conquest boss's damage phases is not. Hard-mode parties often want two healers, which only widens the demand.

Playstyle

Manage the party's health as a resource: mana, cooldown windows, and pre-casting the damage you know is coming. Healing in AION 2 is about reading the encounter β€” the Cleric who has memorized the boss script heals with half the mana of one who has not.

Want guaranteed dungeon invites and can handle being the person everyone looks at when things go wrong? This is the class. The rule of thumb holds across MMOs and AION 2 is no exception.

Leveling to 45

Slower solo kill speed than any DPS, offset by near-invincibility in open-world questing and instant invites to every group system. The story route to the level-45 wall is straightforward; the class choice pays off the moment daily dungeons and Conquest queueing begin.

Progression Notes

Mace-and-shield stat priorities differ from DPS weapons β€” healing power over raw damage β€” but the enhancement economy is identical. Expected stones to take a Unique weapon to +15 and the safe-level rules are on the enhancement page.
